My Work
My work history consists of me in the position as a Direct Support Professional at the Hope House Foundation. I am a current employee and working here has opened my perspective and heart. I absolutely love being able to assist adults with mental disabilities live the life they deserve. Below I have uploaded my resume which highlights my past experiences with other jobs. This includes some of the responsibilities I had to partake in at my past jobs.

Career
I am a junior at Old Dominion University and I am graduating in Fall 2025. Throughout my college career I have managed to achieve the Dean's List. This year I plan on doing an internship during the fall that could benefit my efforts into obtaining a QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional). My minor in human services has given me more of a chance to work in the field I desire. My efforts for pursuing my QMHP is to work with children who may be experiencing mental health struggles. Once I achieve my QMHP, I have my goals set to achieving my masters in Family Counseling. I want to be able to assist families who have experienced domestic violence and become a beacon of information for them in their dark times. The classes I have taken thus far, such as Communicating Love, Nonverbal Communication, Sex, Gender, and Communication, and Peace and Nonviolent Communications has developed my communication skills and how to develop with others.
